Training

Pre & Post Natal

Exercise selection is very important if you are not performing the right exercises for each stage the more likely you are prone to complications.

The pre natal component of the program is designed to prepare the mum to be for the changes in hormones and body shape that will effect her training and her day to day activities, and to keep the mother to be active during pregnancy with a low intensity, low impact and working in a safe environment.

The post natal component of the program is designed to slowly get the new mother back into activity and shape after having her little one. It’s not just the physical changes you encounter. It’s also the myriad of emotional fluctuations!
But maintaining a healthy and active body throughout your pregnancy significantly increases your coping mechanism for the emotional journey as well as for the birthing experience itself.

We all know that exercise, any exercise, releases endorphins which directly lift our spirits. This in turn makes us FEEL better which automatically makes us LOOK better.

Carrying a baby to term and then giving birth is quite a feat.
And that’s the beginning- the post natal experience can be a roller coaster of hormonally driven emotions, not to mention the anguish of watching you’re once taught pregnant belly give way to a somewhat deflated beach ball!!
It doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom –fitness is the key to strength, tone weight control, energy and vitality!
Give yourself the help you need- for yourself, and by yourself.
