“I started training with Jayson about 8 years ago – after a year in Australia I decided I to do more than just enjoy the social life. I can’t say I’ve been the best of clients, fluctuating between consistent training to sometimes struggling to get to the session once a week but i still have seen the difference training with Jayson I have improved my balance and coordination, fitness and strength and toned up, lost weight also.Having struggled to do a lunge, I can now do
walking lunges with added weights without toppling over. I can even do “boy” exercises involving push-ups on my toes whilst balancing on a medicine balls. Jayson’s session sometimes involve strange acts of torture and I am often convinced he dreams up some of the exercises and equipment combinations just to have a laugh. However, the sessions are also fun,particularly the group ones, when one can chat away the pain and get fit at the same time.”

 .”I’ve been training with Jayson for over a year now, since I returned from working in Asia for the past few years. I wanted to get back into a regular exercise routine but more importantly, my aim is to improve my strength, endurance and overall fitness levels that would complement my sport, which is competitive dragonboat racing. I usually have 1-2 sessions a week with Jayson plus outdoor group cardio sessions on Coggee Beach on Saturday mornings. Jayson’s sessions are always interesting, fun most of the time but can be gruelling. 

In 2009 I participated in Jayson’s 12 week challenge where clients set out their goals to reduce fat % and number of kilos over a 12 week period. As I had an overseas trip planned, time only allowed me to do 8 weeks. During the 8 weeks, by exercising diligently and carefully considered food plans I lost 5.5kg (about 4kg fat and 1kg muscles). The exercise regimes consisted of 2 x weights + 1 group cardio sessions with Jayson, plus I had 2 dragonboat training and 1 outrigging training sessions a week. Sure it was very hard work, but actually eating the right food (not high fat food or processed food) is heaps harder than doing the exercises. Jayson always pay attention to not only my physical condition but also mental wellbeing. By this I mean sometimes stress from work and family commitments could affect your motivation to exercise and he is always there to encourage you.

I would highly recommend Jayson to anyone who are interested to improve their overall lifestyle by start exercising.
